Alison Hurwitz

Alison Hurwitz has been teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1997. An experienced professional dancer and teacher, she has received Associate degrees from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and the Dance Vision International Dancers' Association.
Her areas of expertise include Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Hustle, Night Club Two Step, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Bolero, Argentine Tango, and Salsa. Alison also continues to study Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop.
She currently dances with The Harmony Project Dance Company, the Decobelles, and other local groups. She has performed at the San Francisco Hip Hop Festival, the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, the West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Angeles and the World Salsa Congress in Puerto Rico.
