Marcelo's Philosophy:
"Dancing is a kind of therapy. Movements and music break many blockades which were built up. And that is the most important thing for me. If you use adequate didactics, it is quite easy to motivate your students during your class to participate in an effective fitness training."
In my dancing classes, my aerobics classes, and my workshops, I combine my knowledge of Afro-Brazilian dancing culture with my experience in the field of didactics. I gained this experience during my sports science and dance education studies.
For me, it is important that my students develop a consciousness for movements and a positive attitude towards life – apart from improving their dancing skills.
Dancing tells stories from everyday life; you hear songs about the past, about the future, about wishes, and about dreams – simply about stories written by life itself. "Dancing means enjoying life from deep down inside!"
"It is my intention that my students develop a consciousness for their bodies during my classes. This is my goal! The first step of my concept is: Dancing and exercise for everybody! The second step is: Learning by doing! The third step is: Enjoy it! And – last but not least – the fourth step is: Love it!"
